The Hectic Lives of J and V

I’ve been meaning to write a post for weeks now, but life just simply gets in the way or I forget. In the past two weeks, I stared a new quarter at my college, J has been looking for side jobs, and we are fostering a new dog.

I want to make it a goal to at least post twice a month and hopefully once a week in the future. Our lives are just filled with things and we can’t quite declutter it quite yet.

J and I have been through a lot, but I can see how many changes he is making in his life. I look forward to seeing what God brings us our way next. For the meantime, I plan to finish school in June, apply for citizenship, and find a job where I can have more adult interaction while hopefully posting every two weeks!

Hi, I’m Vero! I grew up in Mexico and came to the U.S. as a child. From there I’ve been living in the state of Nebraska, but don’t get fooled! I think the nearest cow to us is about 30-50 minutes away. I got married in December 2016. I was 19. Most people don’t make that kind of decisions when they are 19, but I knew what I wanted. My husband and I are happily married, but we do have our own struggles. (Hence, the title.) We are just two Christians trying to figure out how to live on this earth… and raise our baby boy. I hope that this blog can be a blessing to people and that at the end of the day they find joy and comfort in Him. Thanks for being here. You are loved.
